Audience Development Plan

Turning my back on the stage

At work this week I’ve been helping to draw up an ‘audience development plan’ for a new arts project.

It set me thinking about occasions in my photographic career when I’ve turned my back on the stage I’ve been working and, instead, enjoyed some connection with the audience.

So often, it’s the audience that makes a gig memorable.

Here’s just a selection that made me smile today whilst taking another look.
